For generations, UltraOrthodox Jewish people have kept the annual ritual of harvesting and collecting the wheat by a sickle - an ancient harvesting tool. The wheat is preserved for a year and will be used for making unleavened bread (Mattza) for the next Passover holiday. During the day, the huge flock disperses into secondary flocks of hundreds of birds that fly to the fields for seeking seeds. Toward the evening, the secondary flocks gather at a conspicuous place, and after a short stop they continue to their sleeping areas.
